No, these weren't our Halloween costumes. When I was in middle school I went to state history fair with a play I wrote about Captain Cook. My mom worked night and day using sketches of uniforms I did combining the uniforms used in Marlon Brando's version of "Mutiny on the Bounty" and the Midshipman Hornblower series of the Horatio Hornblower Saga. Yes, this is our average Friday night.

I love your costumes, even though they weren't for Halloween........It's funny you mentioned the movie Mutiny on the Bounty my neighbors son and his friend own that same ship. They refinished it and keep it sometimes out here on Long Island when their not going to places with it for events : )

LOL this reminds me of Halloween. My friend's bf was dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow and went around saying "yarrrr" for two hours even though I told told him "Its 'Arrrr!'"
